Verity Plus Staffing was built on a simple truth: employers deserve reliable partners who understand both their business and their people needs — and job seekers deserve advocates who treat them with respect and dignity.
Founded in 2015 in Mississauga, Ontario, Verity Plus Staffing was created to solve a problem our founders experienced first-hand: Canadian employers, particularly in manufacturing and logistics, were struggling to find reliable workforce partners who could respond quickly, vet effectively, and keep workers engaged long-term.
Over 10 years, we've grown from a boutique local agency into a national staffing partner with offices in Mississauga and Calgary, supporting hundreds of yearly assigned employees and contractors for our enterprise clients across Canada.
Our growth has been rooted in long-term relationships - with our clients, who rely on our expertise and responsiveness, and our employees and consultants, who choose to work with us year after year because we treat them right. Our people are our greatest asset, and everything we do is focused on nurturing them.
To provide Canadian employers with reliable talent and support. To connect job seekers with meaningful work through a fast, honest, and people-first staffing experience.
To be a globally recognized and trusted staffing partner - known for the well-being of our workforce, the success of our clients, and our profound impact on stakeholder communities.
Six principles that guide every decision, every placement, and every interaction at Verity Plus.
The Verity way: We operate with transparency, honesty, and clarity at every touchpoint — with employers, candidates, and our team. We take responsibility for our actions and are committed to doing the right thing.
We continuously raise the bar. From the speed of our placements to the quality of our candidates, we strive for excellence because our stakeholders deserve nothing less.
Our candidates and associates are not just resources. They are humans first; professionals whose careers and livelihoods we take seriously. Their success is our success.
When you call us, we answer. When you need coverage on short notice, we deliver. Dependability is the foundation of every relationship we build.
We invest in the communities where we operate — advocating for fair wages and benefits, enforcing workplace safety, and promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion.
We are committed to reducing the environmental footprint of our operations and encouraging our corporate clients to do the same.

Verity Plus Staffing believes that diverse teams outperform, innovate more, and create stronger workplace cultures. We actively recruit from underrepresented communities — including newcomers to Canada, Indigenous peoples, persons with disabilities, and 2SLGBTQI+ individuals.
Our screening processes are designed to be bias-aware: we evaluate skills, attitude, and reliability — not background, accent, or appearance. We require all our partners to comply with Canadian human rights legislation and AODA (Ontario) or equivalent regional accessibility standards.
We recognize that staffing agencies sit at the intersection of economic activity and human well-being. Our sustainability commitment is to minimize our operational footprint while maximizing our positive social impact.
We have moved the majority of our candidate registration, onboarding, and documentation processes online — reducing paper waste, commute requirements, and administrative overhead for candidates and employers alike.
We educate candidates on their employment rights, fair wage expectations, and occupational health and safety requirements before every assignment. We refuse to work with organizations who do not meet local occupational health and safety requirements, employment standards, or human rights commitments.
